A BiographyTeiona Rashe Denicia Gunn is ..Teiona Power 9... Born and raised in Kansas City, MO the youngest of five was born to be a superstar. She was discovered by Super Producer Montel Jones of JamTel and ..Jungle Slide.. fame. As Montel watched a video tape of Teiona..s brother, BJ Wayz (a fellow rising Hip-Hop star), he realized something about the video tape. Teiona is in the background of the tape flowing, chopping right a long with her brother. From there the magic of Montel Jones produced Teiona Power 9!!! Her strong delivery, positive, confident attitude explodes on stage at every performance. In April of 2006 at the Kansas City, Kansas Community College Annual Talent Show, Teiona Power 9 won 1st Place. That was her first ever performance on stage and a defining moment for her decision to make entertainment a career. Teiona Power 9 performed locally at the Academy of Kansas City Talent Show and won 1st Place. In June of 2006 Teiona Power 9 performed at the Annual Father..s Day Picnic and was ..Special Guest.. at the Claim Your City Talent Show. In July of 2006 Teiona Power 9 was ..Special Guest.. at the Save the Seed Talent Show and Celebration of Children event sponsored by Kansas City Parks and Recreation. In December 2006 Teiona was ..Special Guest.. at Paseo High School of the Performing Arts pep rally and Gregg Community Center Christmas party for the youth. Ms. Gunn is serious about education and success. She continues to maintain a spot on the Honor Roll at Academy of Kansas City, MO. Her favorite subjects are math and reading and she is focused on the upcoming 4th Grade school year. Teiona Power 9 loves to dance. She gets it from her sister Keia and friend Helena from the dance group 816iccness. Her favorite artist is Ebony Eyez. Her favorite movie is ..Big Momma..s House.. and she always watches ..That..s So Raven...
