I started REVEALMagazine.com based here in Kansas City. My best month so far was May 2006 with 320,719 visitors to my site!!! Kansas City is an up-and-coming city with a lot to offer if you know where to look. I provide the where to look. Print issues are in the works. I am also starting a non-for-profit organization which gives back to the KC community. A lot of us are very lucky to have what we have. Giving a day or two back in your time and sweat can really make a profound impact in another persons life. I love to travel- it's a passion. I frequently hit up Miami, Chicago, Vegas, LA and Scottsdale. I was born in San Diego so I return often. I love people on the west coast - Forget what you've heard - People there are just cool. I like people in the Midwest too, but a lot of people are scared to venture out of their circles and experience new people, places and things. I like to have fun and I like for other people to have fun. Life is short - you should live it. It sounds so cliche but you would be surprised how many people are just going through the motions. "Work to live. Don't live to work." And live to accomplish something great. You won't become great over night but with hard work and dedication you would be surprised where you can take yourself. I started REVEAL because I was sick of corporate America. I was tired of busting my ass to make greedy stockholders rich. Plus, I wanted to be involved in something big, something that would hold my interest and make a difference in the world. I wanted to a have voice and speak on what's going on in America today. We need to clean up our country/society/civilization and stop poking around where we don't belong. Everyday people shed blood and tears in our own country and we do nothing about it. Are we blind to the fact? Have we forgot that knowledge is power? But power with no action is pointless. We talk about other peoples pain on the news like it's entertainment. That's wrong. I can't even watch the news anymore without wondering what's next. Why do I want to watch misery as opposed to searching for solutions to it? Why would you? Everybody has a voice. Are you being heard? "I believe that if you don't like your life or the way it's going then you need to do anything you can to change it. Don't sit around and feel sorry for yourself or say you'll do it tomorrow. Get up and do it now!
