FkZ is Alex Franconeri.
I was born in th south of Italy, but my life has been full of changes till moving to my actual residence Barcelona. In 2004 i felt in love with the town and since than that's my town, in 2005 i took my first residence at "Zentraus" in tha raval quater. Here i started to share the consolle with my fiend Dario Damerini and inviting other friends to join us at the party "Le caprice elctronique" hosting friends like Touane or Dokser and mounting the Showcase of Persona records with Stewart Walker. Both with the activity of djing i started to work for the label of Davide Squillace "Minisketch", as label manager.
In 2007 went out also My first release under the name of John Smorto for the MinisketchVIR catalogue, the release called Ojo Seco is an exotic triballing minimal track. My last project is QBK a new party in Barcelona starting on may 2007 to bring some new fresh air to the electronic dance scene in town.
About my production i'm influenced from minimal and electronic music, i try to create tracks such ambient as dance, but i still define all of this more projects than complete works.
