Formed in 2004 by Lee and Steveo, Zero Consent started as a 3-piece pop-punk band playing their first ever show at the Talking Heads in Portswood. After recording a self titled four track EP, ZC opened their arms to a few new members; Ryan, Tetley, Malex, Dave and Chris.
ZC have met some awesome people and bands over the years which we will never forget. Thanks to [spunge], Zen Baseball Bat, MU330, Five Knuckle, The Filaments, Failsafe, The Planet Smashers and Pickled Dick.
2006 saw the release of their debut album "Pole Dancing Pandas" which received some good feedback from the critics, local airplay and were featured in local and national newspapers during their April/May 2006 UK Tour.
2007 saw numerous members joining different projects and a quiet time for Zero Consent. Steve and Lee are currently involved in other projects and Andy has had to go back to Wales to earn some cash.. Will we be gigging again? Who knows.. in the meantime, enjoy the tunes and thanks for the good times, it was fucking rocking!!!!
Press Reviews saw Zero Consent branded as;
"one of the greatest ska-bands on the south coast" - The Joiners
"ZC seem to think silly voices and fart jokes will cover for their uninteresting brass-tinged brand of punk" - The Mag/Some Twat
"The main thing that strikes me about this CD are the vocals, they are very unique" - Punk News
