Lach Hay-Hendry aka DJ Lok started his love affair with the wheels of steel back in 1997. Since then Lok has been perfecting the silky mixing and inventive track selection which has become the core of his DJ sets. Never taking things too seriously, he has built an impressive career over 12 years by blending his eclectic musical influences to create the ultimate party vibe.Lok’s take on music has kept crowds entertained during residencies at a number of Perth’s most well known establishments such as Geisha Bar, The Cott, Leederville Hotel and The Avenue. Other career highlights include playing support slots for touring djs and acts such as Plump Djs, Krafty Kuts & A Skillz, Nickodemus, Shimon, Groove Terminator, Rhibosome and Soul of Man. He has also featured on industry renowned programmes MixUp and The Groove Train on Triple J, and played his first Good Vibrations set in 08.More recently, regular guest spots at Perth’s best club nights have kept Lok busy, dishing out killer sets at Japan4 at Ambar, The Beat Suite at The Flying Scotsman as well as residencies at the Left Bank and Box Deli. His mixing talents have also made him highly sought after at WA’s biggest events such as Styleaid, Perth Fashion Week and Boobalicious. With demand for his sets showing no sign of slowing down, DJ Lok continues to be the popular choice among WA’s fashion and party elite.
