Life is Always Worth It...

About Me

About me? Well, I am pretty laid back and realized a long time ago that life is meant for living. Late in life I came to terms that education was my future and more than anything I want to make a difference in the alternative student's life. Bringing the joy of learning, along with promoting individuality, respect, and responsibility, is how I plan on doing this. I abhor the title of "at-risk" for learners, the only reason they are "at-risk" is because someone is not paying enough attention to their individuality. My belief is that ANYONE can succeed if given the proper tools to work with. Community is a BIG part of this, which is why I am working with alternative students in the online community to change the face of education! Building an online community in the 21st century is important, respecting youth and young adults rights to be active in this is more important! Our current system does not always allow for this and I plan on fixing that with a little help from some friends.Keeping it real and making sure that life is good...that is me...honest to a fault! Look me up...let's talk about it!
