About Me

HISTORY:
...one-man, DIY experimental / improvisation platform, based in Athens, Greece, since 2001. Modern sonic nihilism, minimal and industrial evolution of the power electronics generation. The model of all this is a "real-time Post-Music" texture, in which I operate. Esoteric function.
IMPROVISATION:
I am not musician and I will never be one! Respect to the "music" but I am rather a constructor. All material was, is and will be always improvised! This is not music, it has sonic elements thus it is a form of sound but not music. The "psychovisual telekinisis" which moves things further is emerging out of a "Post-Music" structure. This reformation of the traditional music synthesis is the actual pattern on which my sonic manipulations are expressed and created. All tracks are played for the first and last time during their birth, and recorded realtime. That's it. Their one and only documented form is on those recordings. I can't recall them, I can't play them but only once, and this is something that I find extremely interesting! I'm not sure about how and if Migra could sound in the future.
EVOLUTION:
Project started creating computer-generated music only, but now I've started to experiment with both ways; computers and instruments, digital and analog. I feel that the Machines can co-exist.
REGARDS:
At this point I wish to thank D (from D_M) for the thousant days in Sodom plus other atrocities, hallucinations, inner-self wars, experimentism, mind explorations, destructions, reconstructions
and and and...

Since July of 2006 MiGRA expanted with the addition of a CD/CD-R/vinyl label & distro named MigraForSelf Releases and M Distro respectively. I'm always looking for artists/bands/labels etc to release split cd's or vinyl's, to collaborate and other day-dreamings, or just plain communication.
After some shit I went through I re-opened the M-Distro eBay store. I hope that things won't go like the other time. Anyway here's the link:
You can get all M-Distro stuff either from within eBay or outside. Just check what you want, e-mail me and we'll arrange something. Paypal payments only (even outside eBay). Trades are more than welcome!!! Soon the shop along with all Migra related activities will be hosted on their own server.
