Sick Chick Beatz, (also known as Deborah Thomas) was born in New Haven, CT on April 3, 1982. Later her family relocated to New Jersey where she learned she had an interest in music. While attending elementary school, she began playing the clarinet, writing poetry, and playing the piano by ear. Growing up in a troubled household, she wrote poetry as a way of expressing herself. Feeling like she had nobody to talk to, she would listen to all styles of music, anything that sound good to her or had some kind of meaning, just to get her mind away from the chaos around her. Even though she enjoyed singing herself, she knew she had a passion for songwriting and producing music.Since 2006, she has been determined to pursue her career as a Music Producer/Songwriter. Some of the artist that has influenced her are: Earth, Wind, and Fire, The Gap Band, Diddy, Shirley Murdock, Zap, Mint Condition, Dark Child, Gladys Knight, Faith Evans, Ryan Leslie, Swizz Beatz, 2 Pac, 50 Cent and many more!She has also produced tracks for RD like “Outta Controlâ€, “ Lord Save Me Part 2â€, and “Burnas and Hearses†Sick Chick Beatz is currently working with up and coming artist.
