Il Disphonio developed organically and free range during the turbulent summer of 1983. Founder and previous band member Mandy Patinkin broke many a heart when he left the group to pursue the role of Inigo Montoya in the blockbuster hit, "The Princess Bride." The band later paid tribute to their fallen member in their first hit album entitled, 'You killed my father... prepare to die."
Their current studio project, entitled 'Pizzazz,' is expected to storm music stores early next fall. The revolutionary album features band member Paul Miller beatboxing over the subtle sounds of a Pizzazz® pizza oven heating a scrumptious and evenly cooked pizza. While not overtly noticeable, the presence of band members Paul Newton and Nick McDermott interpretative dancing in the back of the studio can be felt as an almost psychic perception of lightly choreographed footsteps and swooshing arms.
The band is preparing to depart for their marathon tour of the former Soviet Republics , with a final concert in the capitol city of Baku , Azerbaijan . Question has recently risen if their previously strong Soviet following will have survived the loss of drummer Rick Allen’s arm. Newest members Devin Burgess and Matt Tredinnick can’t wait to add their own unique stylings the already unique band.
We regret to inform you that the band will no longer be performing alongside Dio in their comeback tour, "Holy Diver: Up for Air."
