Well, time to update this:I love my job (crazy isn't it?) I love spending time with my family. Recently I've started nesting and learning how to fix all sorts of things around the house, I think that's something every new homeowner does though. I enjoy taking the dogs to the dog park, hiking, working out (when I have time...urgh), road trips (same time problem), I read a LOT, it seems like I'm always doing something but every once in a while I get to sit on the floor with my son and fiance and just relax.
Anyone that is so cool they don't even know it and some of my old Navy buddies. Also, maybe me 10-11 years ago to tell me to straighten up and quit being such a douche.
This list would be huge but I'm not looking to get a hand cramp. Anything from Bright Eyes, to Van Morrison to As I lay Dying over to Murder by Death all the way back to The Spill Canvas.
I used to be a film student so this list would be crazy, Spartan, The Spanish Prisoner, Au Revior Les Infants, The Ninth Gate, Memento, American Beauty, The Big Lebowski, Run Lola Run ( I think I'm in love with Franka Potente')
I don't really watch TV but I own every season of Scrubs and I think it's by far the best show ever made. No TV show has made me laugh or cry as much. I like Top Gear also.
Bret Easton Ellis, Gabriel Garcia Marquez (even though he's "hip" now thanks to Oprah....), Alexandre Dumas, Arturo Perez Reverte, Richard Russo.
Oh, without a doubt my mother. She emacipated herself at 13, had me at 18, left an abusive relationship. Then she took it upon herself to work three jobs, educate me and put herself through school. She then became head nurse with a 4 year degree from OHSU with an 8 year old son. The very definition of a hero is my mother.
