The more I learn, the less I seem to know...

About Me

Even though born and raised in the Netherlands I do not consider myself the stereotyp Dutch Chick. But I can not deny that there is a lot of Dutchness in me. I am someone who needs to know what is going on in the world and needs to know what is coming so I can be prepared. I have the staight forward Dutch humor and love to laugh. But live life on a serious note. My ideas might come across as idealistic, but if you do not believe in the good then there is only the bad to look forward to! a
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM

My Interests

Music, movies, traveling and animals are my passion, but if there is tennis or motogp on telly, then do not dare to bother me!!!

I'd like to meet:

The guy who rules the world. Got some questions for him!!!

Music:

O boy, where do I start. I could do this game for hours... I love just about everything, but ofcourse there are some songwriters, singers and musicians that have my undivited love. Without a doubt I fit in many boxes if you wish to put me in one. But to name a few. Daniel Powter, Gavin DeGraw, Jewel, Racoon, Kane, Tori Amos, A Balladeer, Five for Fighting, Sarah McLachlin, Ben Lee, The Feeling, The Kooks, U2, Bryan Adams, Lara Fabian, Gotthard, John Mayer, Jamie Cullum, Bon Jovi (especially the early work) Sarah McLaughlan, Keith Urban, Goo Goo dolls, Matchbox 20, 3 doors Down, silverchair, savage garden / Darren Hayes and last but surtainly not least James Morrison. (Dutch pride, Alain Clark, the real deal)And because I can not say it any better...

Movies:

Guesse I do not have enough space to write them all down... Again, just to name a few... : Sleepers, Sommersby (US version), City of Angels, Big Fish, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, trainspotting, high fidelity... I am sure that I probably forgot a lot that I wished that I named...

Television:

Love to watch the MotoGP and Top Gear, but I also like to watch shows like "Love my way" and "Grey's Anatomy". And even though, as far as I know, it hasn't been aired on the Dutch Television. I did ( and still do)love "Long way round/down" with Charly Boorman and Ewan McGregor... But Discovery chanel and National Geographics are chanels that I do like to watch aswell.

Books:

I love biographies. Like the book of Richard Hammond. "Long way round/down" by Charley Boorman en Ewan McGregor, but also writers like Jane Eyer, D.H. Lawrence, Jane Austin, John Grisham and plenty more...

Heroes:

Don't realy have any heroes. Think that you have to do it yourself in this world. But Gandhi once said "You must be the change you wish to see in the world". So what more can you add to that?

My Blog

No more games!!!

I know that life is all about games... They have it, you want it, they want you, you don't want to show that you want them too. They smile, you smile back, they walk over, you walk away. They tell you...
