WHO IS DAVID DEARBORN?
Born in the Elmhurst section of Queens, New York, on the fourth of July, David Dearborn earned a BA in Liberal Arts from C. W. Post, Long Island University with concentrations in film making and screen writing. One of his major influences to pursue writing came from his father, Chris Acemandese Hall; a painter, artist, and songwriter who wrote the lyrics to the Miles Davis jazz classic "So What", sung by Eddie Jefferson. His father also wrote and illustrated for children's books such as "Let's Celebrate Kwanzaa" and Melanin and Me.
Dearborn first came to public notice under the name Ace Antonio Romance as a producer and songwriter with Columbia recording artists Inner City. His compositions with that group included an R&B version of their classic Share My Life (#24 US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Charts, #64 UK Singles Charts, 1994) and Changes. Also, that year he co-produced, with Greg Nice, the song Dirty Dawg (#73 Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles-Tracks), which was a remix for the multi-platinum group New Kids On The Block. He opened a 24 track studio with Vance Wright (DJ for Slick Rick) in New Rochelle and began writing and producing up and coming local talent in the genres of pop, rock, and dance music. In 1998, he started managing a hip-hop artist named, Asu. He produced Asu and helped him sign a deal with Krayzie Bone (Bone, Thugs & Harmony) on Thugline/Sony Records.
After many frustrations of promoting talent other than his own, Ace quit music management and began pursuing his writing career under the pen name David Dearborn. During that time, he kept his day job as a Language Arts middle-school teacher for eight years and director of an after-school suspension program in which he instituted a program for troubled youth, which included developing their writing and study skills. To gain more experience in the writing industry, he became the Copy Editor for Floss Magazine for three years and by the time he moved to California and became a director for the Sylvan Learning Center, his skills in writing had become polished. At Sylvan, he also ran the writing program, as well as, taught the verbal section, as director of their Sylvan SAT Prep class.
Following his tenure as a teacher, Dearborn wrote eight books in the genres of short-stories, philosophy, and poetry. However, it wasnt until he fully delved into writing science-fiction that he felt completely fulfilled as a writer. For his novel Saint Wasteland, part of his research for writing involved playing a zombie in the Sony Pictures feature film Zombie Strippers, which stars one of his favorite horror actors, Robert Englund.
David Dearborn lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and children.

THE INSPIRATIONAL ANTHONY ROBBINS
Talking opens the Spiritual gate to the yard of manifestation.
Acting on what you say allows you to walk through the gates.
Be careful that you do not find yourself in the yard of negativity and doubt. That yard is made of quicksand. The more you move, the deeper you sink into it.
