krsna arthe akhila cesta: One should perform all endeavors for Sri Krishna

About Me

Fortunate mother to my two boys - curious, bouncy and smart - yes, that's my wide eyed, perceptive 5 yr old Vraju, and my delectable, just learning to speak, little 3 year old, Nitai.
Lucky wife to dearest Rupa - he's my rock; gentle, steady, loving, and brilliant.
Inseparable with my one and only best friend and sister Gaura, with whom long conversations on the phone are as natural as breathing.
Eternally grateful to my dearest Mati and Kunji (Rupa's mom and sister) for giving their causeless love, taking care of us, rejuvenating us with their company. We miss you so much and want you to come to Dallas very soon!!
Impressed by my little (not so anymore!) brother Gopal, so deep in his intellectual growth for his age and yet quite tolerant and humble of those around him.
Amazed by my little sister Gaurangi, can you ever meet someone who only reminds you of yourself?!!
Missing my dear friends in Laguna: Radhi, Molly, Susan, Carmen, Shyami, Yudhi, Tuti, Rekha Aunti, Pushpa Aunti, and on.
Lovin' every minute of hanging with my oldest friend Vilas (no, she's not old) and new friends here in Dallas.
and beyond that, hmmm... I have played many roles in this journey called life... of those I enjoy being a teacher, organizing temple functions, decorating, editor, organizing plays and seeing how I can engage myself and others in ways to feel connected to Krishna.
Have been teaching in the Dallas Gurukula this year and will continue on next year - so excited!!! Love Mother Jayanti and just see her as such a solid steady sweet devotee and mom... hope to learn alot from her in the coming years.

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are a warm hearted and open minded person. It's easy for you to forgive and forget. You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds. You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.Your near future is in a very different place (both physically and mentally) from where you are right now.For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust. Inside the Room of Your Soul

Heroes:

My father: no matter what life throws him, he's always positive, in love with Krishna and radiates happiness. He teaches me to do so as well.

My mother: strong as a mountain and tough as nails; yet ready to serve and serve and serve, despite tons of austerity. She gave up her whole life to come and take care of my Rupa.

My husband: never gave up will, rarely faltered, even when he was on a death path, in the hospital unable to walk, feel, or eat, bedridden with cancer... still he kept smiling and cracking jokes.

Any devotee who risks his life and material pleasures for spreading Krishna's names and Prabhupada's message; you are my heroes, please accept my humble obeisances.
