Cheesy yet Oh-So-Good Track:
The Final Countdown (Boonie's Magician Intro Edit) - Europe
Most Overplayed Prediction:
Unfortunately - it pains me to say this... but one of my old school favorite tracks, just because it got an offical release and new, lame vocals:
Licky (Herve Remix/Radio Edit) - Larry Tee

Doing rounds on the Sydney scene for multiple moon cycles, the enigmatic Boonie confuses as much as he delights. People all too often question whether the awkward looking young man could be the same person that was voted best under-18 DJ in Sydney in only 2006, or an impostor attempting to wrestle away the reigns to a empire of late nights and mediocrity.
The answer, technically, is yes – but with an equal and opposite answer of no. Having won FBI's 'Underage Sets' and now with a small wealth of experience incorporating Sounds on Sunday, Candy's Apartment, Chinese Laundry and Sosueme – as well as a couple more – Boonie is quickly warming to his newfound habitat of jumping around to loud music that only he can hear in his headphones.
With a passion for all things quirky, cool and with an over-undercurrent of funk, he's as at home playing music to crowds of dancing, insatiable people as he is playing sport – average, mistake ridden but with moments of shining, fluked genius. Or so the haters say.
For everyone else, judge for yourself and get down to catch this misinterpreted, experimental young ruffian doing his thing at a nightclub near you. The power is yours, and other self-affirming clichés – will you accept the consequences?
'Boonie is a good worker. I would recommend him for any position within your company'
- Manager, previous part-time job
'Who?'
- A reputable DJ
'Your call cannot be connected'
- PR Agency
People I've supported so far include:
DJ Medhi (FRA), Malente (GER), Drop The Lime/Curses (US), Russ Chimes (UK), Ajax, Riot in Belgium, The Outlaws (UK), Miami Horror, Bagraiders, Dirty South, Van She Tech, T-Rek, TV Rock, Bass Kleph, Dopamine, Knife Machine, RoShamBo, Funktrust, John Course, Jaim-e Doom + more to come...
If it doesnt make me jump like an idiot on the dancefloor or behind the decks, it's probably not that good.
Beats, Basslines & Boonie. Catch me playing regularly as part of the Ram Jam crew, as well as at Sounds on Sunday, Candy's Apartment, Chinese Laundry, Sosueme and Ceruti's residency's + a host of guest spots. House, accapellas, electro, beats, tech, drums and good vibes.
