Chantel was born and raised in th city of Boston, Massachusetts to a hidden legacy of musicians. She started her career of lyrical expression and performing at the tender age of seven. As the youngest member of a fifty-voice youth choir, nine year-old Chantel, traveled America and Europe performing before thousands.

She signed a management deal with Orpheus Entertainment and was a featured lead on smooth jazz saxophonist, Andre’ Ward’s, “Stepping Up,†released 2004. She caught the attention of Capitol, Universal, Sony/BGM and other Major Labels but dedicated her focus on developing her songwriting, production and arranging skills.Chantel’s discipline not only in music but academics resulted in her becoming a two-time winner of The Berklee College of Music National Songwriting Competition and full-tuition scholarship recipient to Berklee College. This current sixth semester student was made a student ambassador in her first year of school and was recently a featured performer for the Nancy Jazz Pulsation Festival in Nancy, France. Chantel also shared her gift with the women of Sudan as a performer & vocal producer for the “We Are All Connected Project†sponsored by Berklee College and Mercy Corps.
Her resumé and work history read as someone’s twice her age, working hands on with the youth Boston’s community, performing, writing, and producing for several local and national acts and participating as a primary worship leader in her church. Chantel is currently working along with her father, mentor & producer on her debut album, Chapter 1: Miracle scheduled to be released October 2007. This young lady has honed her skills and paid her dues. She is now ready for a new level of success not to flaunt fame and fortune but to be a positive role model and inspiration for a dreaming generation.
