I enjoy having dinners at my home with friends and family. I have had friends since high school,(which has been a long time ago)and i love that we still come together for chicken caldo, holiday dinners and family parties, its a great feeling, they are special and they absolutely make me feel special. I enjoy doing things with my children, i like to take them away for a night to the Coast or Mexico, it helps us reconnect, which is needed because as you know, life is a rat race. I enjoy playing pool and listening to rock, old and new. I enjoy dancing, i believe i am quite good at it.(My opinion)I love the movies, if helps you escape a little of reality when you are in the movie theater, because you are only concentrating on the movie, which i think is a great thing, especially when times in life get a little rough. Rough times are inevitable, along with the good times, and of course the great times.
I'd like to meet people with good intentions and kind hearts. Having a good sense of humor and good looks always helps. I've met all the other ones already. LOL.
I love Classic Rock, Alternative and 80's dance music. Some of my favorite bands include Triumph, DIO, Queensryche, Ozzy Osbourne, and Pink Floyd. Modern rock would be Concrete Blond, Blue October, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chile Peppers, 10 seconds to Mars. Ok, I like the Reggaeton music also, i think its quite sexy, im not sure i spelled in correctly. Its a mixture of Meringue and hip hop style, yeah, quite sexy!
Some of my favorite movies are the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy, the most recent movie I have enjoyed watching is Rocky 6, yeah i know, he is a bit older, but i loved the movie. It was inspiring, your never to old to achieve your dreams! I love comedies, their is nothing like laughing uncontrollably. I also enjoy dramas, i just dont like anything that will leave me to traumatized. I recently viewed Mel Gibson's "Apocolipto", great film but a bit traumatic.(for me anyway)Night at the Roxberry, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, those are some.
One of my favorite shows is Grey's Anatomy and ER.
A few of my favorite books include "Night" by Elie Weisel, "Song of Solomon" by Toni Morrison, and anything by Sandra Cisneros.
My hero is my mother who has an incredible spirit and perserverance! My grandfater would also be included in that list, he is almost 80 yrs old and works as a plumber. Yes, a plumber, with his bad knees and his aching shoulders he still digs and fits pipes and so forth, i swear that Mexican fell off the roof of a house about 2 yrs ago, yeah, i think thats quite incredible. Not to mention he has 4 girlfriends, top that.(Im still trying to find a date!)lol
