I like working with computers, including website design, text-based role-playing games (MUDS, MOOs, MUSHes, etc), and more traditional computer games.
I'm an actor, and I've appeared in one Hollywood movie so far: Outbreak. The one about the monkey that gets the whole town bad nasty sickish. I was an extra, but it was some time on film."Are all adult problems this depressing?"
"Not at all. Most of them also involve taxes. So, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
"... Dead is an option, right?"
The lost, those whom I have once know but have fallen away from. Those I once loathed, that I might make amends and give them the chance for the same. Those I loved and hurt, that I might take away those hurts, and those I loved from afar, that I might express to them what I once felt.I seek those who take me as I am, not as they would have me be. I take those who do not wear masks to buy my favor.I seek the sinners and the saints.
Disturbed, Metallica, Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine, Kittie, the Deftones, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, and other bands of this nature.
There's not too much I watch on TV any more, but there are a few shows I still like. The Simpsons, Las Vegas, and Prison Break. That's really about it.
There's too much of this reality TV crap on there. By the way, to anyone who thinks living on an island with nothing for a few months is reality, wake up. Here's reality for you: Come work a 9-5 that pays you just enough to squeak by, but nowhere near enough to help you recover from the mistakes you made when you were younger.
Screw your 'immunity challenges.' You aren't immune to anything in the real world. Pay your taxes, work your minimum-wage job, and try to raise a family with next to nothing. Worry about your bills for this month, and watch your credit cards go further and further over your account limits.
That's my reality TV.
Enders' Game
Ender's Shadow
Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide
Shadow of the Hegemon
Shadow Puppets
Known collectively as the Enderverse Saga, by Orson Scott Card. It is a brilliant series about genius children forced to fight a war against an alien race. If you haven't read it yet, start.
I'm also a big fan of the different fantasy novels, but mostly the Forgotten Realms / Dragonlance books, though Piers Anthony's Xanth novels are good for a laugh from time to time.
Also, I do recommend the book Firefly, also by Piers Anthony. It's a horrorish novel, with a few sexual overtones. Rather an interesting read.
There's a book called Lightning by Dean Koontz. It's about time travel, another really good read.
I really don't have any heroes. To me, a hero is someone who does something extraordinary, and so far in my life I haven't met anyone who's qualified.I do have people who I admire, like my father, but I don't qualify him as an actual hero.
