Mista Green's name strikes the interest of anyone who comes across it. Green is not your average one dimensional Rap/R&B producer. His diverse background heavily influences the music he creates. Green can produce just about any type of beat out there while applying his own unique style.
The 23 year old producer/rapper was born on September 5, 1985 as Aaron Lee Green Jr. in Buffalo, NY. Being a military child gave Mista Green the opportunity to explore the hip hop/rap culture in several countries. He was raised most of his child hood life in Germany.
Mista Green remembers listening to hip hop ever since he learned to talk. Throughout his interesting childhood, he played the viola, piano, keyboard, and saxophone. At age 14, Green learned to rap and freestyle. Then, he began making hip hop beats at the age of 15 on a PS1 game called MTV music generator. Mista Green quickly gained the attention of his peers because of his ability to make quality sounding tracks with introductory music software.
After graduating from high school, he moved to Virginia. Green decided to upgrade his equipment and bought the fruity loops music software program. Now, he currently makes beats with an 88 key Triton Extreme and Pro Tools LE. In July 2005, he created his own production company, Mista Green Productions LLC.
Mista Green has worked with the likes of Deshawn White, an up and coming independent artist from East Tennessee. He also has a mixtape circulating around Virginia and Maryland titled Caught Red Handed featuring himself and Wayne Ruckus as rappers. He's also working with other rappers such as Amiss and Foster Child. Look for Mista Green to be making some power moves real soon!
