Gardening/Landscaping...I love building rock flower beds. It's quite a good stress reliever.
Faith Hill...I connect with her story. I, too, was adopted and grew up in a small Mississippi town. Her story has many similarities to mine with one obvious difference being that she took that chance on singing and I did not!
In high school, I sang in a band. We did mostly country or classics like the Eagles. Now, I sing on the Praise Team at church. I enjoy a variety of music from Country, Gospel, Christian Rock to Jazz and classical piano. (I took piano lessons for years and still enjoy playing, though I don't have much time to play now.)
I LOVE "Sweet Home Alabama." "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" is hilarious, but painful at times.
I've never been much of a TV watcher. The only shows I have watched in the past year are Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters & Boston Legal.
For uplifting and encouragement, I enjoy reading anything by Max Lucado.My other favorite author is John Grisham.
My mother...she has more patience than anyone I know...and a very generous spirit.
