Hi there!
You're listening to J_HN, SO TURN UP YOUR VOLUME!!!
BIOGRAPHY
I started playing the guitar for about 12 years ago, but in the meantime I also worked at my skills in singing, bass guitar and not the least recording techniques. A brief passage about my current projects:
J_HN project (1998 - current)
Well, what's to say... as soon as I got in though with a friend who owned a home studio, I started writing and recording. At this point I'm able to record everything I like in my own studio, so that is what this MySpace site is all about.
Here you'll be able to find some information about my recent work. At this moment I'm working on sort of an album with about 9-10 songs. In the blog on this site you can read all about the progress I'm making.
I'll try to post some nice samples of my work regularly and I'd like to hear from y'all what you think about it! So don't be shy and drop a line!
Cavity - Prog rock project (2004 - current)
CAVITY COMES TO LIFE... Summer 2004. Daniel and John get together in John's homestudio to jam and discuss some rock ideas. At that time they play together in groove metal band Triple 7. Both have various ideas for some rocksongs, which just don't suit the Triple 7 style of music. So why not throw them together and see what happens...
THINGS TURN OUT VERY WELL...
During this first sesion almost a whole song is recorded and more ideas come up. Daniel and John deceide to get together at a regular basis, to record more ideas and write songs together.
INFLUENCES...
The influences for the Cavity songs can be found in all kinds of music styles but mostly in progrock music. Guitarparts are mainly being played by Daniel, a few by John. The vocals, keys, bassguitar and drum programming are done by John. For the recording of the full length, a real bassplayer and drummer will assist.
IN THE FUTURE...
There are plans to release a demo and later a full lenght CD. So stay tuned for some progrock power!

The 3 demos I recorded with Triple 7 (2001-2005). The music we made can be described as groove metal with a progressive touch.
