I enjoy drumming and making music. Traveling is also a big past-time of mine. I've been to around 47 states. I've also been to Canada, Ireland, Israel, and soon Costa Rica. Nothing is more fun or adventurous than piling in a van with friends and traveling thousands of miles not knowing what is going to happen next.
I like mostly punk/hardcore stuff like Frodus, Refused, Hot Water Music, Fugazi, Serotonin, etc. Also listen to radiohead, sigur ros, starflyer 59, and many more. You get the point. I was a polka dj in college and still have my vast collection of records and cd including steve meisner, jimmy sturr, and Lynn Marie Rink.
The Gods Must Be Crazy, The two x-men movies, Indiana Jones (especially Last Crusade), UHF, Bottlerocket, the Godfather trilogy, Lord of the rings trilogy
mainly a bunch of financial books. Rich dad, Millionare next door, mere christianity, some poe stuff (especially hop-frog)
