About Me
Romantic Weirdos © tells the story of four internally damaged kids who deal with the world by becoming mad. Later on, this strategy fails them as adults and they learn to face the world by dropping the pretense and working together as friends. Many will be excited by the elements found in Weirdos that are basic to good fairy tales: a journey into a strange land, scary moments (how wonderfully frightening L. Ron Hubbard is! too frightening for some children) and a weird assortment of characters: parents, a sister, scientology followers, the moaning queen of silence, and even a cameo by Mickey Mouse. In addition, there are animals, neighbors, Mormons, musical numbers and a television mover. If a moviegoer sees Weirdos on a color TV, s/he will be thrilled by the polluted-colored land of Hollywood that stands in marked contrast to the sepia colored hue interiors and follow THE MAP OF THE STARS as it mimics a yellow brick road-like journey into spectacularism.
