Band Members: Blok Majik is the first member of the group also having been the producer and label head. His laid back, metaphoric, new york rap style fits perfectly over his heavy bass beats with the other 2 artists. He calls himself Blok Majik because evertime he hits the studio he makes majik and he looks at it like you can try to blok me but you cant blok majik.Young Venom is the second member of the group and is the older brother of Blok Majik. His rap style is more southern influenced with an amped up delivery. "He brings out the energy in the beats..." says Blok Majik. He calls himself Young Venom because a snakes venom is most deadly when its young and he feels he spits out young venom.Felony Shots is the third artist in the group and attended middle and high school with Blak Majik were each other rapped together. His rap style is aggressive with New York like vocab. He is representing the lower class poverty striken underdogs in the society. "He brings the reality to the table..." says Blok Majik. Having calling himself Felony Shots is a metaphor for his rap style being as serious as a felony but his are like bullets.
Influences: Each of the artists have different influences and reasons for making music. Blok Majik's musical influences are The Diplomats, Lloyd Banks, and alot of underground battle rappers such as Murda Mook and Loaded Lux. Producer wise is Dr. Dre, Mannie Fresh, and The Neptunes. Young Venom's influences are Tupac, Soulja Slim, B.G. and Mystikal. Fred Shots's influences are Nas, Tupac, and Jadakiss.
Sounds Like: The group has a blend of sounds best described by them as having southern beats with 3 different rap styles exposing the culture of thier city and lifestlye. Groups that they favor and N.W.A., The Hotboys, and the Ruff Ryders.
