Knitting, crochet, crosswords, scrabble, backgammon, live music, live comedy, quizzes, vegetarian food, baking, sewing, galleries and museums, and reading a stupid amount of books and Love It magazine.
People I already know in real life, knitters, Newcastle and North London bands, westcountry oddballs, philanthropic millionaires.
When I'm working I like GY!BE, Radiohead, Four Tet and Sigur Ros. When I'm not I like Belle and Sebastian, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, Rilo Kiley, Franz Ferdinand, and other poppy singalong music with good words and a sense of humour. And Bright Eyes. And Radiohead. A lot.
Fight Club I think.
University Challenge. I don't watch that much telly but I love radio: The Moral Maze, The Write Stuff, Brain of Britain, Ed Reardon, The Now Show and Start the Week on Radio 4, and Russell Brand and Phill Jupitus on Radio 6.
I have read a lot of books. Probably my favourite is David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest or Alasdair Gray's Lanark or Georges Perec's Life A User's Manual. I'm semi-apologetic and guilty about liking huge, quite self-indulgent and pretentious books by white men. I like writing and talking about books a lot too.
