Here's my god's honest CV. I started out on my career in a shoe shop on The King's Road in London and moved into the Rag Trade, mostly selling sweats and shirts. This gave me my first taste for working for myself and back in the 80's I got my AV credentials and worked in the UK Film and Video industry. It didn't take too many bad cups of tea before I was in charge of a video duplication department, the proceeds of which also paid my wages. 15 years in the industry saw me progress from location and internal PA to Production Manager, and quickly to Producer. I worked for BMW, Audi, British Airways, Barclay's Bank, Glaxo Welcome,Benetton,RCI and several more blue chip names from accross the globe. I produced million $ films shot on Super 16mm and 35mm on location throughout the world as well as ads and a few music videos. I had a career change as my interest in businesss itself bacame a focus and I spent 6 years as an inward investment executive, responsible for bringing in business and promoting an image of the area I worked in. I also sat on around 12 committees in Oxfordshire, helping push forward ideas that would benefit the local economy and the people that live and work there. Before being drawn into working for central government, I moved again, this time to help my beloved John who I had been a friend to for nearly 20 years. Wholly inspired by John, and as he believed in me, I now own my own business. It's kind of in the rag trade and it's kind of in the industry. It's like a gift this latest career and I'm taking it with all of my heart and soul and I'll be sticking around for quite some time.
