Originally from Italy, Virma has been dancing since really young age.
During high school years (Linguistic Studies) she attends theatrical labs, which brings her to perform as main character in theatrical musical projects and shows like “Grease†and “Mary Poppinsâ€.After getting her High School Degree in Linguistic studies – English, German, French and Spanish - and accomplishing 8 years of Dance Academy, she decides to move to New York City, starting the ISVP at Steps on Broadway Dance Studio and joining the Steps Ensamble with a scholarship, right after.Already a dancer, Virma decides to explore different sides of her artistic drive. She starts taking vocal classes under the guidance of Craig Derry (www.myspace.com/craigderry) and Clurel Henderson, @ Progressive Music Studio, in Times Square.In October 2005, Virma starts developing her own style. She will start recording for the first time, her own songs, supported by amazing singers, musicians and producers (David Aaron, Adriano Morez, Glenn Grossman, Mike Machines).
At the moment Virma keeps dancing, performing, writing, recording and playing guitar. She is working on her first demo album.
Virma has also performed at different venues in the City, but last summer she had to break her first band up. She is taking now a lil' time to get her material and performance together and looking for new band members for the "Virma Music Project"."I love my life and I feel so blessed in doing what I do.
