I am not going to list every group I have ever listened to and liked. What I will say is that I have a very eclectic taste in music. If you looked at my cd collection, you would find music that spans the 50's/60's, country, western, bluegrass, gospel, hard alternative, indie rock, opera, soundtracks, folk, irish/celtic, native american, classical, big band/swing and pop/dance. I strongly dislike any music that came out of the 70's and anything that has a screaming singer and/or guitar.
I tend to like very few big budget movies. I prefer movies that are made under an indie label. I also love foreign movies. Any movie that doesn't hand me the plot on a platter and actually makes me contemplate its' meaning long after the movie is over gets my vote.
I am a total reality show junkie! You name it, I have probably watched at least one episode.
I will read just about any type of book, unless it's a mystery. I tend to gravitate towards the classics. Some of my favorite authors are Boris Pasternak, E.M. Forster, John Galsworthy, Virginia Woolf, any of the Bronte's, D.H. Lawrence, Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy and William Faulkner to name just a few.
