I was born and raised on the west side of Chicago in a section of the city known as K-TOWN. The same hood that produced TWISTA, CRUCIAL CONFLICT and DO OR DIE. I grew up with aspirations of playing football in the NFL but circumstances prevented me from continueing my college education and eventually my NFL dreams. Recognized as a gifted writer since the sixth grade and growing up in a family with an abundance of talented singers, dancers, musicians and DJ's, I turned to my second passion, MUSIC. I started out writing RAP and R&B songs for local groups and bands because I wasn't a singer and didn't really picture myself as a rapper. After being encouraged by my ex-wife and actually getting an invitation to join TWISTA'S 'Speedknots' I started takeing the RAP thing a lot more serious. The TWISTA thing turned out to be very brief because of my work and family obligations, but proudly seeing his career continue to progress made me hungrier. Frustrated with the production on all my early recordings and discovering that I had musical talent of my own by playing around on my cousin's, (DUKE 2K1), equipment I invested in my own shit and started "droppin' nat heat". Shortly after, I joined crew of the hottest unsigned mo'fuckers on the planet earth called I.S.O.M. Though we are still cool and supportive of each others careers I decided to go solo.
