Enjoying time with family (I'm from a very large immediate and extended clan.)is what I like to do most. Reading (learning) is my favorite past time, so of course, literature is a passion. I'm always interested to gain new insights to other mindsets, cultures and languages. I'm civic minded and care deeply for my community. Depending on the issue, I'm active politically and look to contribute my talents and efforts.
Occasionally, I'll party hard (to honor my inner wild child - "Livvy"- you gotta love her!), enjoy sports - spectating and participating (I run, play softball w/fam and am always trying to improve upon my golf skills), spoken word (gonna get on the mic soon), wine tasting, and fine dining are good weekend pursuits, and physical fitness (pilates, yoga) helps in my daily effort to keep it tight. Live entertainment is best; my fav spots in Chicago are Hot House, The Apartment Lounge (on Tuesday nights for live jazz) among a few others.
You Don't Need a Man ... or Want One!
Generally, you're very happy being a single woman.
And anyone who has a problem with that... well, that's there problem.
Not that you wouldn't share your life with the almost perfect guy.
You simply won't settle though. Your life is too good to share with some substandard man!

I've read literally hundreds of books. Reading is a daily habit. Off the top favs are: From Genesis to Revelations, Power of Positive Thinking, There is a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem, Peace is the Way, Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, Rich Dad - Poor Dad, Personality Plus, 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, Think and Grow Rich, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, The Mystical Life of Jesus Christ, I also like Greek mythology and new thought. I'm currently reading Barack Obama's second book "The Audacity of Hope" - I highly suggest it. YBlakmoore's threesome is next on my list. For easy reading, I enjoy black erotica (I've written it as well), so of course that covers everything by Zane. My girl Terry McMillan is a great storyteller, and Eric Jerome Dickey makes you feel as if you're there. There are several other authors that I've enjoyed, and am always looking for something new and interesting.
You Communicate With Your Eyes
When you say, "I'll believe it when I see it" - you really mean it.
For you, what you see is a lot more important than what you hear.
You don't take someone's words at face value. You judge people by their facial expressions, body language, and appearance.
You tend to be quiet, but when you talk, you tend to make eye contact and describe things in colorful detail.
How Do
I've been blessed with the presence of many people in my life who've bought very positive influences. (W.L.Jordan, Sr., Tyrone Crider, all of my siblings and children, Pearl Mack, etc. I'm my own primary hero, because I amaze me on a daily basis as I go through life walking in the power of my own abilities, beliefs and graces. That's not to seem immodest, but to make the point that as we've all been made able, everyone of us has the potential to be a hero; especially as your own larger-than-life image. I hope that as we go, we learn to become the versions of ourselves that God sees, and allow for the manifestation of his purposes as power for ourselves in our daily walks.
