Belaire is a synth pop band with lots of prog influences from Austin, TX. We come from previous & current projects including Fancy Feast, Voxtrot, and Cari Music.
Cari brought some demos to Winston in the summer of 2004, and Christa and Jason joined the mix soon thereafter. We played our first show that winter with Winston, but unfortunately he then left for Denton, TX. Matt joined the crew in his place, thanks to Jason (both are in Voxtrot) in February 2005. With this lineup we put out a four-song self-titled EP (2005 s/r), four-song 7 inch entitled "Haunted Castle" (2005 Indierect Records), and an LP entitled "Exploding, Impacting" (2007 Indierect Records). Soon after we released the LP, Christa and Matt ventured on. Jason and Cari refused to have the band disintegrate, and found some great replacement members this spring.
