Formed in 1992 the crew consisted of the two MCs Soloist & One Soul and the two DJs and Producers DJ Hype & DJ Domain. Influenced by the golden age age hip hop of this time and german jazz artists like Peter Herbolzheimer, they created a uniqe sound which reflected their enviroment, the district SO36 in Berlin. The music was without compromisses, jazz-influenced and bass-emphasized, sproadically enriched with horns, guitars and flutes. After two 12"s, Houpa Doupa Crapola & The Return Of The Skunkadelic, the Album Alea Iacta Est and appearances on the Juiceful Jazz project with musicians like Christof Griese, Olaf Ziedrich & Paul Brody, to name a few, the group split up and the members took advantage of their solo careers. Nevertheless they influenced a lot of german hip hop musicians that came after them with their undisputed styles.
