k ena m onique e ntertainment is a premiere outlet for mainstream events in the Houston, TX area. Since our relocation to Houston in 2002, we have produced several events around the city with our most recent event being a sold-out "Mo'Nique Live" comedy concert at the Verizon Wireless Theater. Before that, we sold-out Rickey Smiley in September of 2006. Both shows hosted by Houston's own, "THE GROSSMAN." We have also had co-ventures in New Orleans, in conjunction with FUBU Records recording artist 54th Platoon.kenamonique entertainment began promoting and producing events in the San Francisco Bay Area of California in the spring of 1999. KME’s evolution began with promoting several local college events, which led to our first successful comedy show in December of 2000. In this show we worked with all star comedian and actor, AJ Johnson, Sadiki Fuller, Nema Williams,Bay Area’s own Luenell as seen in 2006 blockbuster hit “Borat” and Dugar as seen on BET’s Comic View. At this event we also featured Def Jam Recordings’ DJ, Catfish out of New York.kenamonique entertainment does not limit itself to producing events. We have also worked with “The Filming Company”, for production and talent coordination needs for several music videos in Houston area including artist such as Paul Wall, Mike Jones, and Slim Thug, to name a few.Our goal is to provide entertainment that captures the masses and pleases all.
