At the tender age of 4 when his mother told him to dress his self and go outside, this comedian knew he was ready for a life of comedy. While in Junior high school at Hughes Jr. Hi. (which closed down in 1983) He was the clown of the class with artist like Ice Cube, Yo-Yo, K. D., T-Bone and many more. This school was known as a mecca for gangster rappers in the mid 80's. In High school Devonte also pick up the pin and started to express his self by rewriting words to hit songs giving them a funny twist. (Like "My Doritoes" in the beat of Run DMC's "My ADIDAS" and "Funky Feet" to the music of Whodini's "Funky Beat" etc...) Devonte was also a DJ for the So Damn Fresh Posse (SDF) After attending school for comedy at West Los Angeles College, (under the teachings of Barry Weissenberg) This comedian was one of the standouts in his graduating class. Teacher Quote: " You were terrific. You could be one of the best; you have a fanstastic stage presence !!! Damn you are good. Don't lose touch with me; I have a feeling I'm going to see you on HBO very, very soon". After successfully completing that task Devonte Styles has gone on to appear at the Hollywood Improv, Hollywood park and he also headlined at the Compton all you can eat buffet. He has gone on to use his comedic style and quick wit to become one of biggest and brightest Comedian/MC's/Producers out there
