I'm a game music composer , working on handheld titles primarily. This, however, represents my "electronic" side, which I admit has been sort of left behind as I've been getting progressively more busy in the games industry. I love making this kind of music, but it is very time-consuming and I absolutely do not want to half-arse it.
Before I became Surasshu, I started out as a tracker, using Impulse Tracker and the like. I was known as /slash, aka /, aka SlashMan, etc. I still use trackers, especially new ones that my friend reduz developed, in addition to Logic 5.5. I also use a lot of VSTi's and such.
My music has been influenced by a crazy amount of artists. It's a bit hard to describe, but I think it's alright music overall. ;)
As for myself... I'm a pretty alright guy, I think. I try to dress nice and look nice, although I get lazy with shaving every other day, and I have a heavy beard so that doesn't always work out too well. Unless you're into that kind of thing. I've thought about growing some kind of beard. But I like my sideburns too. Yeah, I have sideburns. You don't see too many of those nowadays, I guess.
I like to go out and have a few drinks, and I love to stay up until 5 am and watch UFC MMA fights.
