GBK formed in 1992, with a desire to play misanthropic and demonic black metal in the vein of Satan. With a distinct and certainly uttermost evil sound, GBK climbed the ladder of USBM and became one of the most well-respected USBM bands today.
Grand Belial's Key was one of the first second-waved black metal bands to come out of the United States.
Previous GBK vocalist Richard Mills (Grimnir Wotansvolk) passed away this year (August 27th).
Grand Belial's Key has split up (officially on October 25th) following this event.
