About Me

Born in San Marcos, lived in Austin since '54 and while it has changed an AWFUL LOT! ... there's no place I'd rather be! ... as Texan as anyone I know (5th generation, w/ 6 of my 8 great-grandparents born in central Texas) and proud of it! ... but not a Yahoo! ... Great twin daughters (29) both through school (1 S.W.T.S.U. and 1 U.T.) both married, in Austin and myspace friends! Wife ... unconventional yet excellent Art Teacher! at Westwood H.S. since it opened!

My Interests

Gee, things I like? ... Maps/Cartography, History stuff, Genealogy (Click here for Dement Family Tree Website!) , Puzzles. Astronomy ... and Chocolate isn't a weakness, it's one of my strong points! (darker the better and the white stuff doesn't count)!!!

I'd like to meet:

Captain Jack (TORCHWOOD)
