About Me

I am a 36 year year old mother of a great 12 year old son. i live on the Gulf coast of Mississippi, but I'm originally from Philly.I used to be a casino table games dealer(that is where I learned that you can never judge a man's value by his clothes or watch)but I have been happily retired for 5 years now. I recently spent a year living in Dubai(U.A.E.)- that's an amazing city in the middle east. I highly reccomend visiting. My husband of almost 5 years(WOW!)works there for a large government contracter. My son and i are back in the states now,so my husband i and keep in touch via phone and email and visit at holidays. It seems like i spend most of my time chauffeuring my son back and forth to football or basketball or whatever- But i still find time to connect with friends, which is really important to me.
You Are Animal
A complete lunatic, you're operating on 100% animal instincts.
You thrive on uncontrolled energy, and you're downright scary.
But you sure can beat a good drum.

My Interests

Music, Music, Music!!!! Cracking corny jokes, traveling, reading, spending time with my son (who cracks me up)good food and wine, and friends.

Music:

Where do i begin? Steely Dan, Eagles,James Taylor Chicago,Jackson Brown,Joni Mitchell,America, Stevie Wonder,Bill Withers,George Benson, Commodores - almost all 70's music, old R&B...I'm VERY eclectic. Like some new stuff too; John Mayer,Maroon 5, Jack Johnson,The Frey, Coldplay even enjoy some of the rap-hip-hop stuff that my son plays in the car.

Movies:

Are you kidding me? "The Godfather", of course! But only 1&2. "Goodfellows" and "Casino". I do have a sentimental side -"The Way We Were" and "Terms of Endearment"...make me cry every time. Also anything by Woody Allen. And finally, my new favorite, "Napolian Dynamite" -BRILLIANT!!! Wow -Can't believe i forgot to mention "Bridget Jone's Diary" and "About A Boy"

Television:

Almost anything on HBO or TLC or the History Channel.

Books:

The Catcher in the Rye, In Cold Blood, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Angela's Ashes, Bonfire Of the Vanities...Am also a big Hunter S. Thompson fan/Gonzo Journalism (but some people take that the wrong way)I love that he used to line up typewriters in his yard and shoot at them with his 12 gage...cried when he died...well, killed himself. Also William Burroughs (Naked Lunch) and P.J O'rourke...he wrote about how he and his buds used to travel round' screwing fat girls to get money to buy drugs. So once again..I am very eclectic -Hell, i loved Memoirs of a Giesha and Sleepers equally. Nicholas Pileggi -anything regarding the Mafia, really...go figure!
