I'd like to meet:
anyone. my AIM is: jsut8787"At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes -- all you need is one."

I always believed it was the things you don’t choose that made you who you are. Your city, your neighborhood, your family. I took pride in these things, like they were an accomplishment. Our starting gates, the bodies wrapped around their souls, the cities wrapped around those.
I lived on this block my whole life; most of these people have. But there was a girl who moved here late. I always felt like I knew her longer than anyone. But love is hard. It’s harder still when you work together. We find people. The broke. The desperate. The riffraff. People running from child support, bill collectors, to escape the wreckage they left behind.
(When your job is to find people who are missing, it helps to know where they started. I find the people who started in the cracks and then fell through.)
This was a hard place to grow up. When I was young, I asked my priest how you could get to heaven and still protect yourself from all the evil in the world. "Though I send you as sheep among wolves, you must be wise as serpents, yet innocent as doves."

I was wrong, about what makes us who we are. It’s the sides we choose, the mistakes we make, and who we leave behind.
