ebria de miel

when german pianist niko meinhold met the colombian musicians javier reyes and checho gomez in a diferent project called "arjona" in berlin, they where already working together with vocalist gina savino, who also lived in berlin by that time. they where already working on colombian folktunes. as a matter of fact "ebria de miel" was born in bogotá de colombia when niko had been working as guest professor for jazz in the university "javeriana". there he met gina the first time, and after the first duo rehersal it was clear, that they had to do a band together. their first recording in "audiovision-studio" was done after just four concerts in bogotá. "ebria de miel" is not only working on colombian but also on north american and brazilian tunes as well as on original compositions, always with its personal aproach.
