TRES GATOS surge a finales de 2005 como iniciativa de tres estudiantes de música por desarrollar su propia propuesta musical a través del lenguaje del jazz y de su característica improvisativa.
Exploran los diferentes estilos del jazz y los incorporan a las vivencias personales por medio de la composición de temas originales y adaptaciones de standards del repertorio jazzístico.
Actualmente están trabajando en el desarrollo de su primer LP, disco que se planea esté en el mercado en el segundo semestre del 2007.

TRES GATOS came up at the end of 2005 as an initiative of three music students to develop their own musical proposal and style utilizing the improvisation of the characteristical jazz language.
They explore different styles of jazz to include them into their own personal experiences, trough the compositions of original tunes and adaptations of some jazz standards.
They are currently working in their first musical production which will be in stores by August 2007.
