About Me

Letting Up Despite Great Faults made their official debut in 2006 with an understated yet powerful EP titled Movement. The 7 song collection gave a quiet glimpse of Letting Up’s unique ability to combine both organic and inorganic instruments into a world free of formulas and clichés. It received acclaim from the likes of NPR, KissAtlanta, 3Hive, CNET, and many more. "I Hear You Drowning But I'm Tied" is a recommended listen by Ben Gibbard and "Disasters Are Okay" found its way onto the television show One Tree Hill. Letting Up’s studio intellect and dexterity shine even more in their 2nd EP, I’ll Be Your Colours (forthcoming 2009). The songs seamlessly jump from an electro, synthetic base to indie rock and pop sentiments with a natural sincerity and sound that is a gem to find in their home of Los Angeles, CA.
"A shining beacon of pop sensibility in the purest sense with dance beats and melancholy vocals that all produce a bitter sweet package." - Analog Scene
"Letting Up Despite Great Faults create music from the heart, ignoring formulas and expectations, letting their freedom and creativity flow. There are no great faults, and hopefully no letting up." - 3hive
