Who said the World is a small place?

About Me

Everytime I look at a map of the World I can't help thinking how little of it I have actually set foot on. I consider myself fairly well travelled from the northern hemisphere to the southern and the Equator. I've met Native Indians, Eskimos, Bushmen, Shamen and even Morag out of Home & Away (I know I shouldn't really be boasting about that last one) but still I look at that big old map and think so much to see and so little time! For a 34 year bloke like me to moaning about the so little time we have on this planet seems kind of selfish what with all the problems going on in the World today, but I just can't help it.So if you are like me and like a bit of a whinge about anything and everything, but at the same time actually like to embrace other cultures and beliefs without loosing your own identity then let's talk! ;-)I'm most likely to say: "Whose round is it?"I'm least likely to say: "I'll do it"

My Interests

Travel, Music, Sport, Adrenalin based madness (Sky Diving, Bungee Jumping, White Water Rafting, Downhill Mountain biking, climbing, the list goes on and on....). I'm dying to try Wing Walking (so if you've got a spare bi-plane???)Meeting new people with something to say other than "What do you do for a living?" Aggghhh!

I'd like to meet:

Like minded people, well travelled, open minded and have a view and are not afraid to voice it. There are a few caveats though: No politically correct people, no pan pipe players, no left handed shandy drinkers and no people taking time out to find themselves. Other than that I'm a tolerant bloke!table tbody td table tbody tr td.text table table, table tbody td table tbody tr td.text table table tbody td.text {visibility:visible

Music:

Too numerous to mention but from Classical to Techno. Love the late 80-90's Indie scene (had the baggy jeans, but didn't go for the "mop top" hair cut though). Inspiral Carpets rule! MOO! My mood definately influences my choice of music for the day, so if it's Death Metal stay away ;-).

Movies:

If I can actaully sit still for long enough then the ocassional one as long as it doesn't last too long, otherwise I fall asleep.

Books:

I get bored after the first page and have to get up and do something.

Heroes:

I haven't met them yet! I know Marco Van Basten is dying to meet me though.
