My Interests

I'd like to meet:

BEST TEAM: John Madden, Al Michaels, Bob Costas, Keith Olbermann, Cris Collinsworth, Jerome Bettis, Tiki Barber, Andrea Kremer, Peter King

John Madden: John Madden, the most honored NFL broadcaster of all time, serves as the game analyst for “NBC Sunday Night Football.” Madden, who has won an unprecedented 15 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Sports Analyst/Personality, is renowned by football fans nationwide for his ability to analyze the details of the game with wit, candor and an inimitable style.
“John Madden is the best analyst in the history of the National Football League and, in my opinion, the best analyst of any kind in sports television history,” said Dick Ebersol, Chairman, NBC Universal Sports & Olympics. “John is much more than a football legend, he’s an American icon. He is the only sports television talent who resonates across all ages – kids grow up today playing his video game and watching him on TV, as their fathers grew up watching him on NFL sidelines every Sunday as the head coach with the best winning percentage in league history. We are extraordinarily proud to have him join NBC.’”

Al Michaels: Emmy Award-winning sportscaster Al Michaels, one of the most renowned sports broadcasters of all time, and the commentator called “TV’s best play-by-play announcer” by the Associated Press, calls play-by-play for “NBC Sunday Night Football” alongside game analyst John Madden.
One of television's most respected journalists, Michaels has covered more major sports events than any other sportscaster, including 20 years as the play-by-play voice of “Monday Night Football,” and has appeared on live primetime broadcast network television more than any person in history. Michaels is the only play-by-play commentator/host to cover the four major sports championships: the Super Bowl (6 times), World Series (8), NBA Finals (2) and the Stanley Cup Final (3). Among his many accolades, Michaels has captured five Emmy Awards for Outstanding Sports Personality – Play-by-play (Host) (1986, 1989, 1995, 2000 and 2006) and has three times (1980, 1983 and 1986) received the NSSA Award from the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association; he was inducted into the NSSA Hall of Fame in 1998. Michaels was named Sportscaster of the Year in 1996 by the American Sportscasters Association, and, in 1991, he was named Sportscaster of the Year by the Washington Journalism Review.

Andrea Kremer: Andrea Kremer, who the Los Angeles Times has called “the best TV interviewer in the business of covering the NFL,” serves as the sideline and feature reporter for “NBC Sunday Night Football.” Kremer also contributes to the “Football Night in America” studio show, in addition to reporting for NBC at the Olympics and periodically reporting on football for the “Today” show.
TV Guide said Kremer is "among TV's best sports correspondents of either sex," and her work is "distinguished by her eagerness to calmly ask tough questions and her refusal to pursue the same old story."

Bob Costas: Bob Costas, a 19-time Emmy Award winner, and television’s most honored studio host, is the host of NBC’s “Football Night in America” studio show. Costas also serves as primetime host of NBC’s coverage of the Olympic Games and co-hosts NBC’s coverage of the U.S. Open, Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes.
Costas hosts NBC's "Football Night in America" studio show alongside co-hosts Cris Collinsworth, the most honored studio analyst in history with six Emmy Awards, and controversial newsman Keith Olbermann; and analysts former Pro Bowler and “Today” correspondent Tiki Barber and Jerome Bettis, one of the most popular players in recent NFL history.

Cris Collinsworth: Cris Collinsworth, the most honored studio analyst in sports television, returns to NBC Sports as studio analyst and co-host of NBC’s “Football Night in America” studio show. Collinsworth, who was first part of the NBC Sports family from 1990-96, has won eight Sports Emmy Awards, including a record seven Emmy Awards for Outstanding Sports Studio Analyst.
In 2007 Collinsworth was awarded both Outstanding Sports Studio Analyst for his work on NBC and HBO’s “Inside the NFL” and Outstanding Sports Game Analyst for his work on the NFL Network. He won his first Emmy Award in 1997 for his work on the “NFL on NBC” studio show. Collinsworth, known for his candid and insightful analysis, has received consistent critical acclaim throughout his broadcast career.

Keith Olbermann: Keith Olbermann serves as co-host, NBC’s “Football Night in America,” alongside host Bob Costas and co-host Cris Collinsworth.
Olbermann, who was named one of the Top Ten Most Powerful People in TV News for 2007 by Television Week, will continue to serve as host of MSNBC’s "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," a unique, fast paced primetime newscast that counts down the day’s top stories with Keith’s particular wit and style.

Jerome Bettis: 2006 Super Bowl champion Jerome Bettis, one of the National Football League's most popular players, the fifth-best rusher of all-time and a six-time Pro Bowl selection, serves as an analyst for NBC's "Football Night in America" studio show.
"The Bus" finished his NFL career in January 2006 after 13 seasons, retiring immediately following the Pittsburgh Steelers' 21-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL in his hometown of Detroit.
Bettis ranks fifth on the NFL's all-time rushing list with 13,662 yards and is one of six players in NFL history to rush for 13,000 yards. He is one of only eight players in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards for eight or more seasons. He ranks third in NFL history with 3,369 rushing attempts. Bettis was selected to the Pro Bowl six times, including his rookie season.

Tiki Barber: Tiki Barber, a three-time NFL Pro Bowler, is a correspondent for NBC News’ “Today” and an analyst for NBC’s “Football Night in America.”
Barber started his broadcasting career prior to retiring from professional football, serving as a correspondent on Fox News Channel’s morning show “Fox & Friends” and hosting a radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio, “The National Sweep,” which covered politics, news, sports and entertainment. Guests on the show ranged from Senator John McCain to Daniel Kurtzer, the former ambassador to both Israel and Egypt, to Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor. Barber and his twin brother Ronde currently host a weekly football show on Sirius NFL Radio called “The Barber Shop.”
In his illustrious 10-year playing career, Barber set virtually every career offensive record for the Giants, while being voted to three NFL Pro Bowls. He holds the Giants all-time mark with 10,448 career rushing yards, and Barber’s 586 receptions and 15,631 yards from scrimmage also are Giants career bests. Barber saved his best for last. In his final regular season game, Barber rushed for 234 yards in a victory over the Washington Redskins, setting a franchise record and helping the Giants clinch a berth in the playoffs.

Peter King: Renowned NFL reporter Peter King of Sports Illustrated serves as a reporter for NBC's "Football Night in America."
Peter has writen for SI's "Inside the NFL" for 17 years, and he is one of the country's premiere football writers.
