I´m a assisting Curator at Kunsthallen Nikolaj (Copenhagen Contemporary Art Center)educated as an Creative Producer/Visual Artist/ Art Historian from Copenhagen, Mexico and Sweden. My interest is projects where arts (music, visual art, theatre, dance) are involved and used in new ways. I like to break the boundaries of how things are "supposed" to be exposed ore used, and find new combinations across borders of normal conception and breaking down "boxes", I use the arts to break down stereotyped images of others (cultural and social)(fx. using music in breaking the boundaries between older and younger people, using photo as a tool for communication and stereotype breaker between cultures without using words etc.) I think that the arts is far more important in the global society that we live in, than the importance it is given in the moment, and that it is a tool where we haven’t explored its possibilities for communication (global, social and cultural) fully yet!
