About Me

I am in a relationship with my first love. This may be a shock to some of our friends and was to be expected by others, but Johnna and I are back together. After more than 20 years of marriage, and 2 years of not, we have found our way back together. Needless to say the kids are happy about it. Speaking of kids, for those that don't know us, we are HUGE advocates of adoption and foster parenting. I am the father of 7 children, 6 of them still young enough to be at home. Although they are a handful for sure, there is never a dull moment and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I enjoy spending time with them, taking them bowling or to the driving range, taking them to watch their Uncle Albert race at the SO Speedway, kicking the soccer ball around the yard with them, or going out to dinner and/or a movie. We like to have barbeques and parties with friends that have kids, so our house is busy most of the time. It is not uncommon for us to have 15 kids running around. I enjoy going out to a nice dinner, watching movies, hiking, or socializing. I like to travel to new places as well as going to old favorites. Some of my favorites are the coast, a cabin in the woods or up in the snow, and Las Vegas. I've been to Cabo and Maui a couple times each and enjoyed it. New Orleans was fun, but best trip so far was Cozumel, would love to go back. I like to find new places to visit or explore, the thrill of riding a roller coaster, and riding my motorcycle. I am looking forward to Johnna getting her license (she has her endorsement) and going on some road trips. I am hooked on Poker (Texas Hold-em mostly), and love to play. I play golf, and coach and sometimes think I could still play soccer.
