Books:

Katzanzakis( my peoples), Graham Greene(3rd world tourist), Philip K Dick(genius), Jhumpa Lahiri (overrated), Derek Walcott(3rd World Genius), Piri Thomas(Good For The Kids), Dante (Glanced At Them), History Of Spanish Civil War, Life Of Nate Shaw, Tolkein (All Of It.., Even the Simarillion), Hunter S Thompson (entertaining), Biography of Kahlil Gibran, Zora Neal Hurston (Always Teach Her), Field Guides To Birds and Mammals (From Extra Nerdy Stage in 4th Grade), Tao Te Ching, M Scott Momaday, Nellie Rosario (My chess buddy), Irvine Welsh (A Fabulous Sicko), Malcolm X For Beginners, Kundera (The Master), Anyway... you get the idea. Heroes:

You are my hero. Let me tell you why. When I was a kid I rode the city bus to and from school every day. I stared out at all the old cats and their brown bag coner loving. I made up stories about you. How we fell in love and understood each other. How you kept your shit together despite the ever building evidence that people were petty and ignorant. That things were inherently flawed. But you still told jokes and smiled more than most... you still went about being better than most folks and didn't ask for much. So you're my hero. There... I said it. And you're sexy too. You know that right?
