Hmmm, about me, well you’ve come to the right place. I have been creating art since I was a young child. I discovered this other world where I could express what I was feeling without uttering a single word. I can communicate my inner most secrets, desires, and everything in between with the stroke of a brush. I really began exploring my artistic abilities in High School and haven’t stopped since. Now is a most important time in my life for creating because of the events that have come to pass. When it comes to a certain style I go with what I know and what I like, always utilizing what I’ve been taught and what I have taught myself. I enjoy the works of Dali, Mucha, and Van Gogh however; I do not try to emulate their style. I am a fan of photographers from the Harlem Renaissance and photographers of the 1930’s-50’s who were completely innovative for their time, long before Photoshop! I really love psychedelic art from the 60’s and enjoy the organic cultural styles of Aboriginal, Polynesian, and Native American art. This is where it is at as far as the type of style I truly admire. The various mediums I use are Acrylic or Watercolor paints on canvas, Digital and 35mm photography, Collage, Charcoal, Graphite, and Chalk or Oil Pastels. I have also found a lot of joy in dance and performance art/choreography, which literally puts my creativity in motion! I have many new pieces I’m currently working, some of which I recently put up on this page. I believe I will always continue to create and look at life through a creative lens. Art is my heart and it is what keeps me going. Without it this world would be drab and gray.
