I switched up my Bio to give you folks personal updated information on just who Miss Diamond is! First, you must know that I've been flowin' since the age of 3, special thanks to my GodMother Tis, who's a Monster in this game. She was responsible for jump starting my love for flowin' and gave me the name LIL MAMA. That's right! LIL MAMA from the East, flow like water so, who wanna drink? LOL Let me take you back a bit. By the time my project was done and word started circulating about this ten year old out of BK, some said I created a buzz but I say I was just putting in work. During this time I was Blessed to have met so many top industry people. I had one of my songs placed in a movie song track , I had 3 Deal Memo's on the table, Truck Turner and Jeff Robinson from MBK Entertainment (Home of Alicia Keys) made me a part of their family. I was also rolling with Papoose before mainstream even knew who he was ("Yo, Pap wat up with dem 7:30 chicks!" LOL). I was on a Radio Disney North East Tour with Lil Romeo and a host of others. I spit hard, from the bottom of my gut for Luda and Shaka at his spot Uptown. I was on my way to stardom and in a blink of an eye everything suddenly changed. To be honest, it was way too much for a 10-year-old kid to absorb. But they say that's the Politics of the Business, which now brings us to the start of 2007 and I'm ready to jump back into this game feet first! LIL MAMA has definitely grown a bit, which is why I changed my name to MISS DIAMOND. I had a small taste of success, and found out the hard way that this industry, at times, is like a double edge sword. But it's the path that I choose. I love music, I love to flow and I've learned that it's really 99% Business and 1% Show. NO MORE LIL MAMA, AKA a puppet on a string! My flow is nastier than ever and YES, MISS DIAMOND DOES WRITE! MY PEN GAME IS SICK! Once again, thanks goes to the one above GOD first and foremost, my FAMILY and my FRIENDS for the support and my GODMOTHER for holding me down. "Yo, Tis thanks for making me put down the bottle and pick up the mic!" LOL Words can never express how I truly feel. I'm still making hits for the youth, just from an older perspective! I'm standing tall and STILL puttin' in work yall! MISS DIAMOND IS INDUSTRY BOUND!
