My Interests

into jewellery painting singing computers music (lots) design hiking history and reading. So umm loads stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Open minded degenerates. Cancerians, because they are collectible. Thinkers. Real ones not ones who consider the merits of coronation street. Sarcastic people. Because wit should be cutting. Caring people, cos there pretty darn illusive.

Music:

Anything really bring it on. Louder the better must be tuneful .Decided at a recent party that all music is essentially cheese anyway.

Movies:

Just seen Shawn of the Dead. MMMM ok. Fragile on the other hand is pretty awesome. Still droning on that Dream for an Insomniac is up there. But have had it pointed out that no B movie is ever up there. Shame. Ok also have to point out at this juncture that all movies should have a good story line. Totty don't cut it.

Television:

documentaries mostly. I'm also a bit of a sci fi freak. Lurve Battlestar Galactica, but moderate it with healthy doses of firefly, charmed and er um (embarrassed silence) eastenders.

Books:

Most scifi fantasy horror no slush please. Once wrote a black lace book under a pen name, and really its bad enough writing the crap let alone reading it. Kept the bills paid for about six months, and havent had a commision back in five years. The moral of the story is no one gets rich off of black lace books.

Heroes:

My kids. My friends (you know who you are), my partner who is just an adorable man. Haven't met too many heroes that I would call real. Apart from the lady in Tauranga who lent me a coat in a torrential rainstorm and then proceeded to disappear. Literally. WTF was in that coffee?

My Blog

Crawling out of the wood work

Why is it years after you say goodbye to some people they pop back into your life most unexpectedly? Are these people that recur (and trust me lots of them do) the people that are meant to be instrume...
