First off, let me say thanks to everyone who came out to our St. Charles location for the Randy Orton meet and greet.
I hope everyone enjoyed their meeting with Randy. We do wish to apologize that towards the end of the line, we couldn't let people really spend much time with him due to the large amount of people that showed up for the event. He was only staying 2 hours, and with 700+ people in line, it was going to be very tough to get everyone through if we let each person pose with him, ask him questions, etc. By moving people quickly, we were able to get everyone through the line so they could get an autograph! It's always our goal to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy our in-stores. We like to think we continued that tradition with this in-store as well.
I am sure all the attendees would agree that Randy Orton was a great guy! I always have the honor of being the guy standing right by the table during signings. With that, I have seen the way our signers interact with the fans. Randy was definitely a class act. He was very personable, and really appreciated what fans went through to meet him. Although the signing started at 4:00 p.m., we had a group of die hard ladies who got to our store at 2:30 a.m.! I repeat, A.M.! They were there for 14 hours prior to Randy showing up. One of the girls, Barbie, even had a Randy Orton tattoo on her back. When she showed Randy, he was completely blown away and you could really tell that he was speechless about it.
